shtsqsh -- probably not; lying for the Lord is standard, encouraged and rewarded, evangelical practice, and having been harangued and brainwashed into blind faith as a child is not often conducive to the child's, then or later, having/being left with much capacity for rational thought, for even recognizing, let alone acknowledging/resolving, even the most glaring cognitive dissonance
