At least ONE competitor is already over a YEAR ahead of dario:

been available for a year already

Even worse, its strips cost about HALF of what most test strips cost AND its backed by a multibillion dollar Chinese corporation AND its app is free:

"The mobile app keeps track of test strip quantity and expiration dates for you....The free iHealth Gluco-Smart app automatically keeps a history of your data and gives you the option to share your information with your doctor or caregiver."

So, yeah, I kinda think "dario" is a bit "late to the party" -- so to speak. And I suspect DRIO management already knows that; it's now just a matter of keeping naive investors from figuring it out as well.
