First off if you have not already done so, I would hit the Cellceutix web site. There are break downs on each dtug. Search YouTube for Dr Jorgensen and brilacidin for a video presentation on the antibiotic. That should get you started.

You sounded legitimate until you got to your "opinion" of Brilacidin. You claim to be a physician but you don't see the rather significant advantage that a one dose therapy has over 7 day intravenous dosing?

Greetings. Uncertain of the level of knowledge here-all I can claim is a desire to learn more about the stock and p53 therapeutics generally. This is based on general interest as a physician and an investor, and a personal interest- my wife's sister has pancreatic CA, a potential p53 target tumor based on her genetic analysis. Came across CTIX and found some stuff on Yahoo and was directed here and will start learning.

Just for starters- Why did you choose CTIX to invest in? How to know if this company really has something special, or if other p53 efforts are better? A quick internet search turns up Aprea in Scandinavia, also in trials, one with AML staring and one with ovarian CA. I need to try to look through the science to understand whether it might be better or not. Aprea is a private company.

Brilacidin- won't it lose out as Daptomycin becomes generic and gets a price cut advantage? Trial suggests slightly better, not loads better, than Daptomycin.

Thanks for any thoughts. I will of course try to catch up on my own, though I wonder about how much some of you may alrey know about these issues.

Sam - p53

I call your bluff "Doc". If you can't see the benefits of Brilacidin over Daptomyacin Then you must be the Rug Doctor I see advertised to shampoo carpets.

Try again.

Welcome Sam - I think led you over here from that other forum... Id go to the Cellceutix website. I also have gone a bit deep as to my own DD especially on Brilacidin/Defensin Mimetics... The bug killing platform CTIX picked up via what we here call the POLYHEIST. You might read back through my back posts to see why I'm sold on Brilacidin and related compounds.

Your personal story spk to a moving piece I heard on NPR today on the drive back from.... Why we really need drugs like Kevetrin to get to market and battle Cancer -- the Emperor of All Maladies in need of being dethroned (see link at bottom). The early Kevetrin data out of Dana Farber looks promising--with an update likely soon. Here's hoping it continues as we move into other/later trials.

I would start with their website and go back several years in PRs and go one by one. Use your knowledge of what institutions are involved and who is sponsoring CTIX. That alone is concrete evidence this is special.
Understand some of the quotes from famous Doctors and hospitals about the compounds.

There is nothing skeptical or misleading from this team.

An entire new class of antibiotics in a single dose with HIGHLY unlikely characteristics to gain resistance is a definition of a game changer! That's what B is.

Welcome to the board and good luck with your DD.

P53, I've read through the early responses to your posts before adding my two cents worth. If you are serious about CTIX as a possible investment, I have some ideas for you. Others have already suggested several avenues of research to get you up to speed.

I would also recommend that if you plan to participate in discussions on this IHUB group, bear in mind that you've gotten off to a bad start with many regular contributors. For one, your IHUB alias was created today. This board has a regular stream of folks just created who appear here and try to subtly bash CTIX.

You have identified yourself as a physician, but in your Brilacidin comments, you show no actual practical world knowledge or experience of the costs and problems associated with treating ABSSSI. If generic Dapto were given away free, there would still be, in many cases, considerable expenses of hospitalization, office visits, the cost of non-compliance with a multi day treatment regimen, the cost of drug resistance that will develop in some number of cases.

So, I hope you come back and demonstrate that you are a seriously curious individual and potential investor.

I hope you keep coming back, as each new individual or institution who comes to invest in CTIX makes my shares more valuable.
