He may be out shopping for a blue tie. After all, it looks like we're reverting to the post-drilling period in the JDZ where the presentation of information is hampered by a big smile and a blue tie. Hey Pete, move on man.
If it is any consolation, I would have hung up on you too. I give them credit for doing their job properly and by the sounds of it, as much professionalism as the situation warranted.
That has usually been my experience with ERHC personnel as well. They seem to be threatened by even the most benign questions and seem very reluctant to answer the simplest of fair and logical questions. Makes me wonder what they are hiding and who told them to be like that. Obviously this is NOT the norm. Most companies treat their shareholder MUCH better. I think we see the same attitude in their PR's, filings and refusal to hold timely shareholders meetings. Their philosophy seems to be don't tell 'em anything except what is required by law and even do that as slowly and incoherently as possible. There really is no good excuse but I am sure we will continue to see and hear many bad ones that try to justify this conduct. Sad to see really.
The ONLY people I have been able to have a decent conversation with are Gretjan and Blair. And they are both gone. Coincidence? Probably not.
