Call and ask them about the mini if your concerned. They will tell you, it's February 24th

No other airlines PR their failed evacs either. It is not uncommon for slides to fail to deploy. Failing an evac is not newsworthy.

They only need to report completed milestones.

Everything said in response to your post is all true...as is your post as well.

I was actually speaking with the CEO when I first saw someone post the PR on one of the boards.

We were discussing some of the outrageously ridiculous statements that people were making, and when I saw it there, I asked him about it.

Fluff....no doubt, but there isn't much that the company can say at this time in a PR.

In all honesty.....with all the BS floating around on the boards.....the company just wanted to let us all know that they are alive and well and still moving forward.

As has already been mentioned ...don't expect any word about the mini-evac for the next couple of weeks, but the good thing right now is that when everyone flys back in, the tickets are all one way.

The intent is to pass the mini and move right on into Proving Flights............
