I would agree with that. Nobody's job at Blackrock is on the line with this small investment in Araid. Nth at said, Blackrock still increased their investment in Ariad which contradicts the institutional flight some posters are claiming.
are you saying you know for a fact what happened at Blackrock personnel wise (annual reviews, bonuses etc.) post flash crash? If so, please do tell us how you got that information.
Furthermore, do you think ariad tanking after this substantial increase in holding would in no way shape or form impact SOMEONE's perforce review/bonus? That is, is it your view that Blackrock's partners and analysts can invest willy nilly without any consequences???? That would indeed be a curious way for a major investment firm to operate.
