Very unlikely. Don't think PBM will make contract on drugs not approved yet.

In hindsight I really think that Abbvie opened a can of worms that's going to hurt in the long run. In their defense they probably didn't think Gilead would react in the manor that they did.

Abbvie initial $83,319 price was a joke because within days it signed a contract with Express for around $50,000. Did they think they could charge Express $50K while CVS, Prime and Athena would be satisfied paying $83K?

How do you think the Health Care Providers feel about being left out of this equation?

Abbvie has been able to possibly wiggle out more patients and time will tell if it succeeds. Would a $65K initial price have obtain the same patient pool? I've read on this board many times that treatment was Provider constrained? Did that just evaporate or do you really think GP's are going to venture into this area.

Considering that from the date of V-Packs approval Gildead in down 7%, Abbvie is down 17% and Enta is down 19%* shows me this deal isn't unraveling as expected.

* Where's the cash.
