That is actually a good question. "Silver" is simply a term for someone putting $100 into a risky, risky penny or sub-penny stock and through a series of all the pitfalls that can happen, I.e., DTC chills, dilution, reverse splits and maybe throw in a little fraud sometimes, that $100 turns into a quick nickel or dime instead of the $100 bill you used to have.

My experience in over 12 years of trying to strike it lucky with these micro-priced issues has been that I have seen over 99% of them go to .0001 or lower, go BK, or simply just stop trading.
