I don't use Scot - I use Etrade and I know you have to make a certain amount of trades in order to qualify for free level II - I am sure Scott does the same - call them or look on their website - I will get another Ihuber to answer who uses Scott.

I don't think you have to upgrade with Scotty if you mean upgrade to Elite, You'll have to order level 2 Level 2 is $10 a month unless you make 10 trades a month, then it's free.

I enjoy TDAmeritrade's free level 2 service with being an account holder. Their mobile apps are better than competitors IMO also.
