So you are saying they are already licensed to grow but they need a license to expand their operation?
Not according to Canada's MOH. They are not listed as a licensed grower or producer.
It's my understanding that WOM is licensed under the original MMAR, which i believe is still in effect during the lawsuit
Now Michigan law does not provide or allow the commercial production of MMJ. How in the world could MPT be a producer in a state that has no provisions within the law?
They are an affiliate of a licensed holder...and they anticipate the Michigan Laws changing allowing their affiliate (and MPT) to grow their operation. Specific quote from the Disclosure Memorandum: "Michigan Plant Technologies LLC (the “MPT License Holder”) anticipates the receipt of a license by the state of Michigan or an authorized municipality to grow medicinal marijuana in the state of Michigan, an affiliate of the MPT license holder already being licensed to grow medicinal marijuana in the state of Michigan and is currently growing medical marijuana, for the expansion of the affiliate’s current farming operations into a vertically integrated project of growing cannabis and extracting active ingredients and producing infused products and operating a dispensary, in accordance with two new bills which the MPT License Holder believes will be approved by the Michigan Senate, having already been approved by the Michigan House of Representatives."
