Just talking, but I might argue since this is a rebirth of a completely different entity that what was there prior to delisting, an RS would set the stage to be able to do an IPO, raise capital for more land and apply further what appears to be a very successful business model. 200 to 300 million shares is lot of shares for a company basically starting a new. With a successful RS, IPO and buildup of well inventory, this could fast track to a higher exchange where a much higher share price is needed.

I do agree, 99% of RSs are a kiss of death, but the vast majority of those are in a much different circumstance than here. If SE thinks its advisable, I would go with it.

JMHO.

That's just absolutely not true. That's the perception people have because these RS were "invented" by hundreds of worthless penny stock companies out there because they are diluting their shares down to 0001 and need to do a RS since there is no bid on the stock anymore and the convertible debt guys need to further sell shares.

Let me make this clear. A RS is a complete NON EVENT in terms of valuation and any other metric out there for a stock that has value. I have been in dozen of successful RS in the last 10 years, it only depends what kind of company does it and for what purpose. I have been in stocks that did the RS just for uplisting and again plenty of them had great success with it since this is certainly not the deciding metric if a stock will go up or down over time.

Just think logical. If SIOR ever lists again the stock will naturally be valued based on it's assets and top and bottom line numbers eventually, on leases and partnerships and wells and what not and NOT whether it trades at 03 without a RS or at 45 cents with a 1-15 RS for example. The opposite is the case actually. It will be MUCH better over time when SIOR has 40 million shares outstanding instead of 400 million. MUCH BETTER. It will get much more respect from the market and from instis over time. They will also be able to uplist much faster and that is another key thing if they wanna grow this into a respected nice little oil company.
