It sure does. Like you said many times they are closed when going out in the AM only to come back later in the day and when driving across the bridges you can look down and see a 2' wide open gap with open water. Have fun next weekend. Sounds like a good time.
1990Flstf, largest one speared today (opening day)was 76.4 inches. Most likely they'll hit the maximum quotas again this year within a few days and close the season early.
