McDonnell will remain out of jail while he appeals his conviction and 2 year jail sentence - just like your avg criminal is treated, right?!?!
This month (Feb) Maureen McDonnell will be sentenced and probably get the same light sentence (if it holds up) the former governor received - I don't see her getting 5 years as prosecutors recommended, in spite of Bob McDonnell's attempt to pin the entire caper on his wife.
Whatever happens to disgraced Mr/Mrs McDonnell, their family has been destroyed - of their 4 children, 2 supported their dad while 2 supported their mom.
