You know, if someone were to step up to the plate and dump a sh*t load of money into Q... FANTASTIC! Everyone here wants to see this station live and prosper. Even the so-called "disgruntled" ex-employees.
But to sit here and watch this thing die the slow and absolutely agonizing death that it is... a quick and painless death is the only way. There are some of us who have been with this network since the beginning and it really is the most painful for us to watch this happen. Despite the actions of FO and pals, we believed in what we were doing and tried our hardest to do it well. We succeeded. We got the network on the air and running. It's like watching the Titanic sinking. You know there is no hope to save it, but how long can you take the pleading screams from the passengers trapped on the ship as it ever so slowly sinks? It's truly heartbreaking.
There is some questions about why no one appeared to say what was happening in the network before Jan of this year and why didn't anyone try to stop FO.
There were a small minority of employees who tried to curb the outrageous spending. We tried to downsize the events. Unfortunately, whenever FO was being pushed about the cost of things, he would leave town and put things together his way, out of the eye of anyone who would argue about the cost.
