Interesting, thanks Jeff! Someone said Etrade was back trading ANY today, if Scottrade doesn't follow then I'll do it.

Jeff, I just switched to AMERITRADE from SCOTTRADE last week for margin reasons..99% of my portfolio is ANY and I still got 30% margin priviledges, actually a tad more. S.TRADE offered nothing and I had
to trade by phone. So far I am VERY happy with AMERITRADE. They have lots of places to call for info. and are very informed and helpful.
Trading on AMERITRADE is very easy; the graphics are simple and
lead you right through the trade, with clear exits for cancel/modify on the site.
I left S.TRADE because they changed their margin requirements on me and I had to sell over $12,000 worth of stock at a huge loss. No thanks. Basta! But I'm buying back in at way under 4 bucks over at
my new home. Worth the effort to change IMO.

By the way, ANY is 50-70 percent marginable with Ameritrade depending on the pps. 70 now with any sub 5 dollars. Scottrade was 85 above 5 and 95 below I believe.
