Seriously??? Add up all the share volume in the last 6 months, is it even close to 1 billion shares traded? You really think that GRCU bought every single share traded in that time? If they did do that would it really be trading in the sub pennies if they bought two thirds of the OS in the open market?
Wish it was the case, but here's what it represents... On the TTD* (predecessor to GRCU) filing from April 1st, 2013, is the following info on page 16 (for the period ended Dec 31, 2012): As of the end of 2012: a. There were 1,500,000,000 common shares authorized; b. There were 553,695,597 common shares issued and outstanding; c. There were 341,010,602 freely tradable common shares (public float); d. The Company had approximately 286 shareholders of record.
On Bloomberg it says the outstanding shares are now 553.70 million as of 1/29/2015. I thought it was 1.6 billion. Did GRCU just buyback 1 billion shares ?
Here is the link. All comments and analysis welcome.
Stay on that site and plug in other company's whose share structure you know for SURE and see if the Bloomberg site says the same...a sort of way of cross referencing.
