Thanks. Yes, I understand phase 1 is always to determine safety and PK and the like. Anything else is a secondary outcome. It's just that some phase 1's seem to be in populations with the target indication and others are not. There isn't any chance of a secondary outcome when the subject doesn't have whatever affliction the drug is for.

In either case, I'm young enough that I can hang in there for a few years and that's what I plan to do unless it all goes to hell for some unknown reason.
