Investors Intelligence Poll: Bullish Sentiment Rises

Bullish sentiment rose among financial advisers surveyed in the weekly Investors Intelligence poll from Friday.

The percentage of financial advisers who are bullish on the market increased to 53.1% from 49% a week earlier, while bearish sentiment decreased to 16.3% from 17.4%.

The percentage of financial advisers expecting a market correction dropped to 30.6% from 33.6%.

In the week ended Tuesday, 50.76% of stocks listed on the New York Stock Exchange were above their 10-week moving averages. Also, 51% of NYSE stocks were above their 30-week averages.

The Dow Jones Industrial Average recently rose 77 points to 17464 but has fallen 2% this year.
