Glass, I am not disagreeing with you as to your skepticism with respect to HB or what others say and certainly not defending them. My point is that you used a chart that is not reflective of what you are trying to prove. Taking your approach, the top three shorted stocks' (including Ariad) performance the last two days against Russell 2000 would be like this (I am sorry I don't know how to insert a picture in a post on iHub):
If you look at this chart, Ariad's behavior has nothing similar to the other two shorted stocks or the Russell 2000 Index. Let's make that clear before we deduce and claim arguments that favor your point of view.
