#80365 RE: Dragon Lady #80357

I do not remember whether I met Dt.Minger at the GE booth during a meeting in Washington, D.C. late last January---its booth was directly across the aisle from the booth of a subsidiary GMP company facility of another company in which I am invested. The business development manager of that sub explained to my colleague and me[both of us coincidentally are also OCAT investors] the role that GE plays in supplying large bio-reactors to the sub for use in making varied biological materials of interest to the sub and its clients/customers. He employed a video illustrating his talk that showed GE's large reactors in use in the sub's GMP facilities.

I plan to go to this year's meeting at the same location, and will report back here re what I further learn of GE's plans and operations in biotechnology and cell-based "regenerative medicine" processes that you mention, Captain.

From the vimeo:

"Dr. Stephen Minger is Global Head of Research and Development for the Cell Technologies business of GE Healthcare Life Sciences and, in this role, Dr. Minger travels the world to stay current and connected with what’s happening in the regenerative medicine industry. He shares his thoughts about the industry in this video.

Dr. Minger leads the development of GE Healthcare Life Sciences’ cell-based technologies for use in drug discovery and pharmaceutical research. He also directs the development of GE Healthcare Life Sciences’ enabling technologies for the rapidly emerging field of regenerative medicine and cell therapy."
