1) I can NOT speak to NTEK's intentions. NO ONE HERE can!!!
We are all SPECULATING. No one here is NanoTech. It is why I encouraged that you present your questions to NTEK IR (& share communications here if you would be so kind).
2) This comment you are responding to leaves my on-going question to you unanswered...
Are YOU suggesting that the 8mm U.S. UHD/4K TV users are more important than the 1.485B that history & industry tells us is coming? It seems that NTEK is building their infrastructure in EVERY MEANINGFUL WAY (to me, as a former CEO & business-person).
If YOU think they should be catering to 8mm I want to know why?
I am ALSO POINTING OUT that during the International B2B CES 2015 Trade Show Manufacturers were PROMOTING UltraFlix to Industry. It is VERY REASONABLE to assume they will PUSH UltraFlix (on packaging, copy, ads, etc.) to consumers as well. NTEK has to be sure they are PORTED on those sets, & EVERYTHING IS WORKING FIRST: Do they not?
That there is as much content as they can get for the launch of upcoming UHD/4K TV Product Lines that have committed to NTEK. That all the features, functionality, and content has been tested as well as ADS up-&-running (since they just added this feature) a FREE Service option has been declared as part of NTEK's pricing structure.
CART meet HORSE!!
Look, at some point VERY SOON,...Broadcasters may do with HD what they did with SD (Stop BROADCASTING IT). Which would force UHD adoption. Some UHD/4K TV Manufacturers & broadcasters have already INTIMATED this...
Hence my motto: PATIENCE & BUY THE DIPS!!!
I think the best way to build a position in NTEK is to add on the dips!! Everyone to their own DD & investment decisions of course. That's just my take.
