Actually it's not that odd if you believe OEMs that supply retailers are getting sweetheart deals on X2's. AMD has been basically screwing the DIY crowd. In the past week I noticed a few sites selling 3800 X2 for less than $300.00 so I think the exponetial decline is just started, the DIY crowd have a good idea of whats coming and will wait for NGA instead of X2 or 9XX pentiumD's.
