#56209 RE: Bootz #56208

My point, now pay attention closely, is that the market tends to think that if one boxmaker warns that the others, including Apple, will have a darker future than expected. This may be faulty thinking.

Now here's the tricky part: if you, like Wendy in Peter Pan, for example, believe there are switchers, DELL's warnings can indicate higher sales for AAPL, because people may be buying Macs INSTEAD of PCs.

Thus, one might think that lower DELL sales could indicate increased AAPL sales.

Turned you upside down, didn't I? :)

While I have heard that DELL is less expensive, we don't always shop by price alone. At least, with the exception of KCMW and WLD... Ah... I've stopped paying attention and become distracted by the entire concept... We don't all, always, shop by price alone.

:)

Thus and so, we are brought to yet another buying opportunity in Apple stock.

Dell's warning was due to their pricing policies, according to something I read.
