Funny for a guy with Itanium on his mind all the time, you somehow forgot Itanium as one of the things dragging down blended Intel margins vs. pure x86 MPU margins.
If you think IPF margins are less than Intel's x86 margins let alone its overall margins then you are badly out to lunch.
I didn't mention IPF because IPF MPU sales of a bit less than $200m/qtr don't have much influence on the average margin of a company with $8B/qtr of total sales.
