Thank you blueblizzy for simplifying things for us. I had a feeling that the ANY manipulators we're going to "glorify" Docker in yet another attempt to grasp for straws. It's good to get this out in the open now.
Your last point regarding Docker needing to do things differently to monetize is spot on. With all of the hype surrounding their technology, there are underlying problems with open source software as it relates to monetization strategies. Don't take my word for it, just read Peter Levine's (Partner at Andreessen Horowitz) take.
