Hint: I bought 3 x 2k share lots today at different times. I sold 2 x 2k share lots. Therefore I "traded" (bought or sold) 10k shares today, but only own/ hold 2k shares. technically, using cash i bought/sold the same 2k shares multiple times. so did a lot of others.
