And if he's wrong again, which is looking likely, so what? He's certainly not going to get fired. He will likely receive another raise. People here will make excuses for him. Nobody will be allowed to question him about it on a conference call. If they did, he would just mumble, stumble, and bumble his way to some innocuous non-answer. I suppose if he had some credibility, he could lose it. Not much of a worry there. No downside for him or management at all. There never is.
