What does ones faith have to do with political affiliation. Why would she say such a thing? Sounds like judging to me, not very compassionate of anothers beliefs to link them to a party affiliation. I for one respect anyone who practices his or her faith which is demonstrated by the way they live their life. I'll leave the judging to others.
