I was surprised that the publication did it...it was owned by PlanetOut. Lowell Selvin gave an excellent interview to Chrisanne (OnTopic) not too long before that publication came out. I know news is news and that's their job....but I was pleased to see that most of the GLBT sites only reported the problems and not all the rubbish. Since that time Chrisanne did land an interview with one of the I believe PlanetOut folks...so maybe they do all understand this nonsense but to me aside from being a shareholder of TMM I think it's so critical that QTN (and the other 2 GLBT networks) be given a chance to develop and succeed. Folks need a central resource for their information, activities, idea exchanges, political view presentations, talent, etc....that does not exist right now without these 3 networks....and 3 is not a lot for the GLBT community. Fan from all accounts appears to be a fairly large shareholder of QBID (I have not verified that)...if yes, besides the fact it's all on him right now, I think the guy should be given a chance. He had the guts to put his reputation on the line as did Carol to move this company forward. InAnother...there was another advertising vehicle for QTN that I forgot to mention along with the GLBT publications and Broadcast Cable (which was geared toward cable but picked up by media as well)...and that was the attendance at all the GLBT pride events. I don't know if you saw their presence but in Boston it was obvious...very obvious. And the reception Q Television got in Boston was overwhelming...frankly I think people get stuck in 'status' and are lazy about making the decision to move forward. That's many of us. Let's see how many folks when buying new cards change to the 'flex' ones...
