From what I understand there have been several inquiries by JnJ employees. Typically companies do not need to have a ton of traffic to recruit. once work gets out that there are jobs available in healthcare and with a small company that has beaten JnJ 3 times in court the lines are formed to fill the positions.

Global rank of websites does not mean more applications. If you spend anytime on google analytics you will find that people are visiting the careers website after they land on the home page. They go to career websites directly showing that they have heard of the position elsewhere.
