Your point that BLTA is international is certainly significant. However, Eastern's funding target and BLTA's MCap ARE comparable. Not that it matters much anymore as Eastern seems to have quite a ways to go yet (I failed to catch that earlier ;-(

Eastern: Capital goal is $50-$100 million before starting scheduled service

BLTA: Current MCap is $92 million (I also pointed out that BLTA is a 747 not a 737 in my post).

I'm not sure that applies. The stat to look for is what was the "average certification time" to get certified by the FAA as an international passenger carrier under section 121 over the past decade. Correct me if I'm wrong; but I don't believe there is data for that.

Whatever the case. As close as we are now...it looks like it WILL happen. WHEN doesn't matter much.

Looks like Baltia will miss that 2 year average by a couple of decades; if not more.
