Nope their opinion is odd man out when you look at the opinions of the many other analysts convering Ariad.

And their history... Do a little research.

Nope, it's simply because of their track records

For example, on 11/01/13 they downgraded ARIA from $4 to $2.5, and only 85 days later ARIA was traded as high as $9.83 on 1/24/15. Those naive investors listening to them must have lost tons of money.
