If what we have seen them test on the BTC Pool website for the past few weeks is any indication of what they ordered (i.e. 1.7-5.3 TH/s servers), then we know that SP31s and SP32s are coming in the shipment, in addition to SP20s.
Regarding hardware going obsolete: hardware goes obsolete with an increase in mining difficulty. However, we KNOW that mining difficulty has actually DECREASED as some players have dropped out! This means mining hardware such as SP31s and SP32s are NOT obsolete, and will not be for some time to come.
So I'm not worried at all about hardware going out of date any time soon. As soon as the shipment arrives and they hook it all up, we are off to the races!!!
