"Though it is understood that this is possibly a new breakthrough in agriculture, especially in the field of sericulture, law is law; because Vietnam has no legal frame in this total brand new field, we should comply with it. It means that temporarily, it is not possible to implement the project. "

Thanks DoD and thank your friend for us. It looks better and much clearer.

"In other words, to the normal worm, scientists can make it genetically modified so that it can produce silk with protein which is like spider silk and this kind of silk has superior properties compared to conventional silk. "

"On Dec 26, the Department of Agriculture - Rural Development (MARD), Lam Dong said: MARD has just given out their official opinions on the proposal of Lam Dong Province People’s Committee in the Letter No. 53 /UBND-NN dated 11/17/2014 addressed to the Ministry of Agriculture and Rural Development regarding the suggestion of allowing the province to have the cooperation with a foreign corporation in conducting the rearing of genetically modified silkworm – spider hybrid silkworm. According to the Document No. 10 246 / BNN-CN of MARD, Lam Dong temporarily won’t conduct the project with the reason that we do not have enough capability to manage the livestock which is a strange breed with genetic modification as the spider hybrid silkworm".
