These kinds of statements/attacks from the right (Corker and Vitter) is why Obama felt he had to throw FnF under the bus - to provide cover for his administrative moves on FHA - can anyone imagine the vitriol if Obama had made any positive statements about FnF?

Still Obama could have left FnF standing on the curb, instead of pushing them in front of the bus. :)

FHA has always lent too much to too many - it sort of is the place of last resort (when F and F will not back the paper is one way to think of it)

Not much of a cut 1/2 point - will not make much difference for many people - and the insurance cost is still higher post this cut then pre 2008

so I thank Corker and Vitter for making it look like BO really is doing a lot more for lower middle class than he is

this cut IMO was a no brainer and a simple positive populist statement

count on corker and vitter to make REPS look mean spirited
