it is sad. it's been sad for a long time and it will take a major (think ww III) event to change things. do you think we'll let some other currency become the dominant, 'global currency' without a fight? consider the basis that this country was founded on. 'let them come collect.'

i respectively disagree. IMO, the dollar will not collapse. we'll see some inflation, rising rates and competition in the currency markets. like i said, it will be a rocky road. however, our position in the world economy isn't changing anytime soon.
