Since the start of 2015, the number of large upside moves by biotech stocks is greater than in any period I can recall since the circa 2000 bubble era. It’s somewhat worrisome, IMO.
Agreed too. I remember being involved in a portfolio contest dealing with hot tech companies (mostly fiber optic companies) in early 2000. By the 10th of March that year, most portfolios were up 100% already. Obviously, they were not at the same level at the end of the year. This run is starting to have the same feel.
