My guess would be that he has already tried to address the same question over and over again. I'm sure the more times the same people ask the same question, managements eyes just start to glaze over before they can even finish reading the request.
That's not an excuse for their "lack" of communication, I am sure they could provide the reasoning if they felt the need to provide it.

What is desperately in need of immediately is for him to clearly enunciate a plan to save the company to get through until drilling ! Everything else is simply smoke and mirrors !
Maybe something will come of the IOC in regard to the EEZ but given the present environment ERHC would be foolish to consider this their plan A for survival ! Don't see them throwing a whole lot of pay cheque cash at ERHC management ! And as far as we know there are no particular prospects for Chad ?
