" Lewis hopes to start human testing in 2 years."

Lewis of NovoBiotic Pharmaceuticals

The mode of action is similar to B breaks down cell wall of bacteria!!

B will be on the formulary of hospitals and clinics world wide in less then 2 years !!
No resistance, no toxicity one or 3 day dosing wipes the bugs out.

Somebody email Lewis and tell him Leo has the first in class antibiotic and its about to start Phase 3 and has QIDP protection !!

This shows how uninformed the investment community is including Reuters !!!

Go CTIX and LEO

I saw it too. Still a couple of years from human testing. I wish the media would embrace B with the same enthusiasm. One day, and soon.

Just saw the news on teixobactin hit, making quite the splash in the Press... heres the link to the Nature article

http://www.nature.com/nature/journal/vaop/ncurrent/full/nature14098.html

like others have pointed out it is YEARS away from getting to the market and does not tackle Gram negative

this article is a good summation

"That, Lewis said, will take about two years. And then they will need at least another three years to test teixobactin on humans."
