Absolutely it is good news JG - although with a minor kicker that I suspect is what the market is responding to:

I do see the purchase of the Shelton facility as good news (although judging by today's price action, the market doesn't seem to give a damn).

Yes, one less thing to bitch about.

That 'Kicker' being that buying the plant does eat into the existing capital and cash on hand for the company - and (barring something else positive in the near term to push outlook up a bit) does raise the risk of needing to raise capital sooner than if the plant were not purchased. Company still has substantial operating capital on hand though so no immediate threat there.

So - the plant becomes a fairly illiquid asset of NNVC (rather than the plant's lease being a smaller liability),... but company liquidity and flexibility goes down short-term in response.


So - IMO - it's not an unexpected response by the market. Annoying,... but that's another issue.

Still on the table:

Delivering Ebolacide to USAMRIID (I do expect this to happen this month or next).

Making enough Flucide for tox. (Crucial, and I won't stop complaining until I see some real evidence this will happen.)
