In your experience with the markets, do institutional buyers with large volume get put ahead of small investors? If I had had a bid open first in line for $5.30 prior to the large 10K sale, would the MM most likely pass me up to place the entire order with the institutional investor?

The above is strictly for info, I had no such bid in place. Just wondering.
