what we need is more refining capacity.. THAT will bite us in ass one day.. I grew up in Houson and used to pull tankers out of the refineries down in Pasadena, Deer Park, Laporte, Channelview.. That area is responsible for somewhere around 20% of all our refining capacity.. We havent built new refineries for decades.. yet another "failure of imagination".. I live in a depressed area of New York and we've voted to bring an Ethanol plant in.. YAAYYY.. will be HUGE for this areas economy (my own business included).. I believe the Gulf Coast is going to experience storms this year like no others in recorded history.. we need more refineries in land and not on fault lines.. You can bet Ill be watching stocks like INSQ.. GSHF etc..
