Walmart is trying to change its image ... Unfortunately edible garden won't do that alone.

It's a good step in the right direction but, Walmart needs a complete intervention.

I try to eat local/organic as much as possible. It's a trend that is becoming more popular with all kinds of people, not just the rich.

I would not consider myself affluent and I only buy local, gmo-free, hormone-free and organic produce and meats.

Lets not forget the population of our planet is exceeding our/its ability to produce food. Even now a rather large portion of the total population lives in poverty while barely having enough food to survive. Unless we have a major population decrease, locally grown produce is the only credible way we will be able to feed the masses. The EG Brand is yet another burgeoning Industry that the trtc fingers are in. Plus, it just tastes so much better.
