Any Forthcoming Contract Announcement's will be Made Public.

They have the capabilities of our production scaled to where it is needed for our clients by the time they are ready to start their product production.

There will be a Revenue Gap of a few months before a product is developed and tested and put on a production line.

With the announcement of a Contract this will have a favorable effect on the shareprice.

Thanks for sharing Dave :)

Hawk. Off hand, I would surmise that Art L. seems to be saying, IMO, don't get your hopes up for anything soon? Maybe not, IMO, even till end of 2nd qtr?

I know things can change for the very positive with a display/revenue contract, but with the price of oil and nat gas falling, it would seem that perhaps anything re: Solar may be put off even much longer.

I bought QTMM as a spec for the long term, but did not forsee the almost 50% decline in oil. Know there are many other promising uses for Qdots besides solar: displays, medical, identification etc and hope QTMM has made progress in cadmium free Qdots?

QTMM at some point will need more money to continue. 2015 should be interesting for QTMM and hopefully positive. Let's hope some revenue producing contract arrives within next 90 days. Would appreciate your or others thoughts. Thanks

Just want to say that regardless of QTMM's future: Here's to a Healthy and Happy New Year for you. I/We appreciate all of your excellent posts and scientific updates.

DDhawk, thank you for sharing that email. I found the email very encouraging, and found a sentence (I hope that I am not reading to much into it either):
"We are confident we can have our production scaled to where it is needed for our clients by the time they are ready to start their product production."

client
[ 'kli?nt ]

NOUN

noun: client · plural noun: clients

1.a person or organization using the services of a lawyer or other professional person or company:

"insurance tailor-made to a client's specific requirements"

synonyms: customer · buyer · purchaser · shopper · consumer · user ·

More

•a person receiving social or medical services:

"a client referred for counseling"

•a nation that is dependent on another, more powerful nation.

2.(in a network) a desktop computer or workstation that is capable of obtaining information and applications from a server.

•a program that is capable of obtaining a service provided by another program.

3.(in ancient Rome) a plebeian under the protection of a patrician.

•a dependent; a hanger-on.

It did not say "potential clients" or something similar to that. It said "clients". Very, very interesting to say the least. Am I reading to much into this?

Thank you DDhawk for this info. To my thinking, Art is providing some confirmation of a shift in emphasis of corp strategy here--perhaps due to the oil/energy prices getting creamed and "bulk" QD production for solar not being as timely and central to planning as originally thought--prior to last year--at least for the time being while oil prices are sorted out.

Earlier last year--the impression was clearly that a second, larger system was being anticipated for early 2015. Perhaps this was aimed at ramping solar production. Now the focus appears to be on scalability of the the current system. I suspect this is an indication of the degree of "tuning" and customization that each client and end use is demanding, and that the roadmap currently being followed involves maximizing the smaller, adjustable, scalable, tunable reactor and meeting those diverse needs.

Art's "handful of companies" comment, I assume, is alluding to the many other companies in other industry segments exploring QDS. Many of which I assume we are actively working with.

I'd really like to see us grab some of the "low hanging display fruit" asap--but lining up clients with customized QD supply in diverse industries also makes sense and could really set things up for the future.
