Casper, none of that stuff means much to me. I've seen companies file for chapter 11 because it was in the best interests of the shareholders. I have seen companies go dark for the same reason. I have even seen a company getting 90% of the votes to rip off the other 10% of the shareholders. Compared to that company we have a healthy shareholder base here. I've also seen a company's stock jump 600% in less than 2 months following a reverse split.

This company is controlled because Solomon Lee set it up from scratch. He doesn't want a bunch of clueless shareholders to send him home if he screws up once. Or to affect his ability to make strategic decisions in a material way. To be able to move quickly and be flexible. You can either agree with that or you don't.

You need to look at fundamentals. You can avoid a lot of problems by investing in companies that are profitable with decent growth. Companies that are competitive and offer a superior product/technology. With a management team that can control cost and doesn't spend like crazy. This all seems obvious, but the majority of investors simply do not get it. And never will.
