As someone that's moved to 99% OSX and 1% Windows, mainly because I don't like Windows 8/8.1 and am not sure that Windows 10 is going to fix the problems that I see, I'd prefer it to run OSX over Windows 8.1.

LTE is becoming an issue in being competitive. It seems to me that the carriers are adding LTE and XLTE in a bunch of rural places for coverage and Verizon is talking about decommissioning older technologies. Not sure that it's attractive to only have 3G these days when 4G has been around for several years.

The perfect iPad Air clone has arrived: this tablet dual-boots Android and Windows 8.1, has 3G connectivity, aluminum unibody, and $200 price

That is a lot of value for the money. I wonder how they can build a dual boot system since Google and Microsoft said they wouldn't allow such configurations. It actually shows what value Intel could have brought to the table if Google and Microsoft just would have let them.

It would even be better as a two in one 10" device. At a 300$ price point, with decent detachable keyboard and quick dual boot system (through quick BIOS implementation and fast SSD or some sort of background hibernation of the OS currently not running), this would be a great device for my 8 year old son. He could use Android for games and media consumption (basically entertainment) and Windows for education stuff and some more demanding software, e.g. for school. The detachable keyboard would make it good for more productive work at school.

Such a device is quite a steal. Subsidized hardware and software from Intel, Microsoft and Google together with ultra cheap production from China. More value for the money is almost impossible to get.
