exactly dakota.. i said that last part backwards...he found the .70/.80 range triggering some sells and stayed on the bid down there to cover. if you watch the sell off of all the rallies here it is always like that...market maker sops up liquidity on the offer and then moves a dime or so lower and repeats until he gets neutral again.
the main point though is that the local is shorting into rallies because it's us versus him and he is 100 times better capitalized.
