I agree with you.

While it's possible to write $500-$550 call spread on a $500 stock, it's much better and safer...to write let's say $550-$600 call spreads.

You earn less but you get to fight and make money for another day...which is very important in my opinion

Make since so i would do a call spread 550 sell and 600 buy somewhere in that range?
