Well said. I think Street never fathomed such a deal will happen and all the sell side analysts who touted GILD's revenue model are on fire now.

I am not suggesting that cutting an exclusive deal is bad.

I am suggesting that ESRX had expressed so much animus toward GILD that ABBV should not have had to cut pricing as much as they did absent GILD playing that same game. More likely, ESRX played the negotiations better.

JMHO

I actually made money on GILD on the last down cycle and while I am underwater this cycle, I may come out ahead yet. We will see.
