I wouldn't say "this style", as all ecigs in general leave seasoned smokers wanting more. Some people simply need that kick in the throat of tars to be satisfied. Others don't. Methinks there's 3 main reasons that contribute to the overall effectiveness of the standard ecig:

1) the number of years the smoker has been smoking
2) the number of cigs a tobacco smoker has been used to smoking for those years, and
3) the stress level the smoker is generally under
